On 28 December of this year, the Universal Church observed the Sunday of the Feast of the Holy Family. On this solemn occasion, the entire Catholic Church prays in a special way for all families throughout the world. Our Holy Family Parish likewise celebrated its patronal feast at St. Dominic Chapel in Limbe.
During the same week, our parish was blessed with the pastoral visitation of the Bishop of the Diocese of Yei. Accompanied by the parish team, the Bishop visited several chapels within the parish territory. In each location, he presided at the Eucharistic celebration and communicated pastoral news and important information concerning the Diocese of Yei to the faithful. This visitation brought great joy to our Christian communities. The faith of many parishioners was strengthened, and, in collaboration with the SVD missionaries, they continue to grow in their spiritual life and in the development of the parish, bearing fervent witness to the love and mercy of God.
On this feast day, we also received greetings and blessings from our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Andrzej Dzida, SVD. The Feast of the Holy Family remains a significant and joyful occasion for our parish community. We express our profound gratitude to Almighty God and extend sincere thanks to all benefactors who support us through their prayers and material assistance.
