On the Sixth Sunday of Easter, we gathered at Saint Arnold Janssen Parish and a nearby chapel to celebrate the Holy Mass and other sacraments. We also went to a school in Yumbe town to celebrate Mass with many children.
During this Mass, we invited some of the youths who had attended seminars at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, as well as some of the children who participated in the Pilgrimage of Hope to the Lodonga Basilica, to share their experiences with all the Christians present.
Before the Mass, we joined all the faithful in praying the Rosary, and the choirs practiced hymns to prepare for the celebration.
After the Mass, together with the SVD Lay Partners, we visited the sick and brought them Holy Communion. Many children accompanied us—singing, dancing, and praying the Rosary—as we prayed for the sick and for peace throughout the world.
