Missions for the patients who have some problems relate to their eyes.
Every year, in the May, we organize a program which is a mission for the patients who have some problems relate to their eyes. We ask some doctors and nurses who come from Spanish to come to our mission’s settlement (five zones). Every day in this time, father Romy takes these doctors and nurses up to there, so that they check and test the eyes of patients. Because in mission’s settlement, there are many patients so brother Bernard and sister Josepha also come to there, help and support them. After that father Romy takes them and patients who need to surgery up to the health center of Lodonga. In this health center, these doctors and nurses check and test these patients of eyes one more again. Some doctors do surgery these patients of eyes. After surgery and receiving the taking care of these nurses for about one or two days, these patients can go back their home with the health eyes which can see some things well.
We asked these doctors; nurses and patients some questions. These doctors; nurses answered that they become happy and joyful because they could test and do surgery the eyes of patients; help them to see some things clearly. In other hand, some patients answered that they are living in the not good condition, so they become joyful because they receive the helping and supporting from us and receive directly the healing from these doctors and nurses. They said thank so much to the SVD fathers and brother; the SSpS sisters; the doctors and nurses.
