Meeting with Bishop Sabino in Arua Diocese
Today, Monday the 21st of July 2025, we went to Arua Diocese to have a meeting with Bishop Sabino. During this meeting, we listened to some important information from the Bishop about the current situation in his Diocese. He also shared with us several challenges the Diocese is facing—especially regarding the mission work among refugees. The Bishop asked us to keep him and his Diocese in our prayers.
Afterward, our mission superior shared with him some updates concerning our missions in his Diocese. During this sharing, the superior introduced our new missionary, Father Fabianus, who comes from Indonesia. From now on, he will serve in our new parish: St. Arnold Janssen. Moreover, our mission superior informed the Bishop that two of us will soon be going to Lainya, Yei Diocese, to begin a new mission at Holy Family Parish. Our parish priest and formation director also had the opportunity to share some encouraging updates with the Bishop.
After listening to all our sharing, Bishop Sabino expressed his heartfelt gratitude to us for our zealous commitment to missionary work in his Diocese—especially for our service to the refugees in Bidibidi Settlement.
Before we left his residence, we received his blessing. We thank God for everything.
