On the fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, we gathered at Saint Arnold Janssen Parish and visited several chapels in our settlement to celebrate the Holy Mass and other sacraments. During the Mass, we introduced the vocations of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) and the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSpS) to all the faithful who were present.
We invited everyone to join us in prayer and support for the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. It was a special occasion as we also baptized several children during the celebration. Good Shepherd Sunday is a joyful day for us and for all Christians. With songs and dancing, we gave thanks to the Lord our God for His love and guidance.
After the Mass, together with many of our Lay Partners, we visited the sick in our community. Although it was a long day, our hearts were filled with happiness and joy because we had the opportunity to share the message of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, and promote the vocations of SVD and SSpS.
We continue to pray and hope that our Church and our congregations will be blessed with many new vocations in the future.
