Celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi)

Today, the entire Catholic Church joyfully celebrated the Solemnity Sunday Mass of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ—Corpus Christi. In our Bidibidi settlement, we gathered with great devotion at Saint Arnold Janssen Parish and in various chapels to take part in this sacred celebration.

Many Christians attended the Masses, lifting their hearts in songs, prayers, and joyful dances, praising the Lord our God and praying earnestly for peace in the whole world, for all the sick, and for those preparing their hearts to receive Holy Communion.

A particularly special moment took place at Saint Vincent Chapel, where 24 children received the Sacrament of Baptism, marking the beginning of their journey of faith.

In Zone 2, Swinga, we organized a beautiful Eucharistic Procession from Saint Mary help of Christian Chapel to Saint Francis Chapel. After the Mass, many faithful joined us in the procession, singing and praying along the way, honoring the Holy Eucharist with deep reverence and joy.

We give thanks to God for the grace of this day—for the successful celebration of the Mass and the procession, all carried out in His love and mercy. We are also especially grateful to the Lord for hearing our prayers and blessing our settlement with heavy rain, which will help our crops grow and sustain our communities.

To God be the glory—now and forever!
